We have been very helpful around the house doing lots of chores.
Keeping fit is really important to our class. Daily workouts and activities keep our bodies moving. Check out our Joe Wicks workouts and other PE activities.
Art is one of Mrs. Richmond's favourite subjects. Check out these amazing artists and their creations.
Can you spot our Andy Warhol inspired pieces?
Year 4 have been reading at home. Lots of our class have favourite reading spots to settle down with a book. Reading and comprehending what we read is a very important skill in our class.
We have been writing about texts we have been reading or research we have done. Look at our work and learn about lots of different things we have been learning about.
HANDWRITING & SPELLINGS|
We are still working on our handwriting and weekly spellings from home.
We have been going over skills we have already covered this year in Year 4. LOTS of times table work too.
WOW! Look at these delicious cakes being made at home. I wish I could taste them!
The Firework-Maker's Daughter|
Year 4 have been enjoying reading their novel 'The Firework-Maker's Daughter' by Philip Pullman. In the story the main character Lila makes a perilous journey to a volcano. The children listened to the story in the 4D Room which has been transformed into an erupting volcano. Even the floor turned into lava!
Computing - We are Musicians|
We produced music using a variety of different platforms. First we used the 'Isle of Tune' website to begin composing sounds with rhythm and beat. This was a lot of fun!
We then moved on to producing our own music using the Garageband App on the iPads! To achieve this we considered which instruments would be most appropriate to suit our music theme; the Halloween Disco.
